  • Polymer filter
    • Polymer filter was originally developed by NTT(*1), and Koshin succeeded to established the mass production system. Koshin is the one of the largest polymer filter manufacture in Japan and the world. This filter is thin enough to insert into almost any places with limited spaces for optical filters. A thickness of the filter can range from 15 um to 30 um depending on the optical specification, and with a such thickness, the filter can be inserted into a slit, which you make on the fiber, wave-guide or ferrule using a cutter.

      *Note: Thickness of typical glass base filter starts from 100 um.
